Within the training programs of the Governmental Local Administration Sectors King Salman Center for Local Governance held strategic planning programs for local administration bodies

Among the Center’s programs that aims to train the employees of local administration bodies, King Salman Center for Local Governance (KSCLG) held a training program entitled “Strategic Planning for Local Administration Bodies” during the period of 18-20 / 05 / 1439H (04-06 / 02/2018), with the participation of more than ten government agencies from all regions of the Kingdom. During the program, the participants; the District Councils, the Local Councils, the Regional Secretariats and Municipalities, and the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture reviewed their experiences.

The three-day program focused on a number of key themes including; concepts of strategic planning, stages and, methods of strategic analysis, preparation stages for strategic analysis and its tools, as well as the requirements and pre-preparing steps for planning the work strategy.

His Highness Prince Dr. Abdul-Aziz bin Ayyaf, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Prince Sultan University and the Chairman of King Salman Center for Local Governance, met trainees of the program and discussed the importance of local administrative work in the expansion and development.
